Problem? What Problem?

“Officer I had to drive I was too drunk to walk.”
-Art Bulinski

I don’t have a drinking problem, I have no problem drinking at all! (Lyrics from a Country Song)

Or maybe we do.

“Hazardous” drinking has taken a big jump in recent years. That means 4 or more drinks for women and 5 or more drinks for men. Binge drinking can lead to lots of problems such as getting into fights, crashing your car, or plain old falling down and hurting yourself. Heavy drinking can lead to heart attacks, cancer, and brain damage. Studies have found that 12.7 percent of the population is alcoholic. The rise in problem drinking has a number of factors including people feeling pessimistic about their economic chances and general, overall depression about their lot in life. Alcohol abuse is more widespread than opioid addiction. Alcohol has been listed as the No. 1 health problem in America.

What depressing news… I guess I’ll go out and have a few beers.

All Trumped Up (Flashback):
Trump Wins! The people have spoke.
