Just When You Thought it was Safe to be at Home

Indian Name: “Runs with Scissors”

Home accidents cause at least 20,000 deaths a year, 7 million disabling injuries, and 20 million hospital trips. Falls are by far the major problem. Accidental poisoning is second on the list followed by fires.

Massachusetts has the fewest accidents at home while New Mexico is the unsafest with five times the death rate of Massachusetts. Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death among people between the ages of one and forty-four and the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S.

So… move to Massachusetts, get servants to wait on you, and never leave your rocker-recliner.

There, problem solved!
