How About Afghanistan

Talk about dumb, dumber, and dumbest…what a country.

Alexander the Great conquered it in 327 B.C. and made it part of his empire. Genghis Khan was probably the most noted conqueror of Afghanistan – his empire covered, at its peak, 94 million square miles and was the largest empire to ever exist on the planet. In Khan’s reign he killed about 40 million people to build his empire. Afghanistan was conquered by Khan around 1200 A.D.

Afghanistan received independence from Persia in 1709. In 1919 England and Russia fought over Afghanistan to make it a buffer between their empires. Afghanistan was in the Ottoman Empire from 1350 to 1918 that was run by the Turks. Russia went home with its tail between its legs a few years back which started the fall of its latest empire known as the U.S.S.R.

Seven other major groups have added Afghanistan to their empires throughout the course of its history. Good luck to the good old U.S.A. Obviously no one in our government has read any middle eastern history, otherwise we would of stayed home and taken care of our own business.
